The vibrant, organic fruit from Wakayama is what inspired the Tsuru-Ume series by Heiwa Shuzou. The "kanjuku", or fully matured or ripe, is the entry-level sake in the series. We find it to be a bit sweeter than most umeshu we've tried, which makes it unique and incredible alongside dessert, or just on its own as a decadent treat.
Alternatively, try splashing it into a glass of dry sparkling wine for a fun apéro (we highly reccomend HILD)
