If you're new to sake, this might be a good place to start. The sake in this section is not really fruity or savory, nor is it super sharp or textured. This is where you'll find sake that lives somewhere in the middle. You might find some "honjozo" sake in this section, which means the brewer added a little alcohol to the brew before bottling. This is not to make the sake extra boozy, added alcohol helps balance the sake and accentuate certain aroma. It usually also gives sake a shorter finish -- which people generally like when beginning their sake journey.
